California! I have finally arrived! I am so happy to be here in L.A, I’ve wanted to visit it for so long! 

This morning I woke up at 5am, for an early morning flight, 6 hours long. It’s my longest flight I’ve been on since arriving in America. It felt like forever. After arriving, I needed to head over to the International arrivals to meet my friend coming over from Australia! LAX is the most inconvenient airport ever, they need to build some transport system, that is more reliant than the shuttle buses. -Rant over- Anyway, after waiting an hour or so for my friend to get through customs, we then had to wait another 15 minutes for the shuttle bus to take us to the rent-a-car place. (we didn’t get the full insurance, fingers crossed for us we don’t crash or anything). Thats true au pair living, broke living. 

After getting the car we drove down to Venice Beach, it was crazy, good crazy. So many colours, and vibrant people. I’ve never seen such a big mixture of different types of people. I enjoyed just watching all the people pass by. We walked down the strip of the outdoor stores, restaurants  street performers, which was right on the beach. It was nice to be outdoors in the sun again. It has almost been a year since I’ve been able to do that.

Anyway after being up for more than 17 hours, I think it’s time to hit the hay, big day in Beverly Hills, and Hollywood tomorrow!
